A Cycling Merit Badge Center will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010, from 8:30 AM until 2 PM, in the parking lot of Orlando Gardens.Banquet Center, located at 4300 Hoffmeister Rd. in St. Louis.

Scouts will have the opportunity to complete requirements #1 through #7 of the cycling merit badge, as well as participate in a ride on Grant Trail.

Participants must provide their own adult leadership.  Other requirements are: the Scout’s bicycle prepared for a rigorous inspection, required safety equipment, signed Merit Badge Card, water and a sack lunch.

Reservations are required and will be limited to the first 50 Scouts enrolling.  There will be no exceptions and no walk-ins accepted.  The fee is $7.00 per Scout.  Deadline for reservations is April 28th, 2010.  A contingency waiting list will be available on a first come, first serve basis in case of cancellations.  Scouts on the waiting list will be notified in case of cancellations.

To the right is the Cycling Merit Badge Center registration form that may be mailed to the Council office, along with the $7 fee.  Forms will also be distributed at the April Roundtables.

Important Message: If a Scout cannot attend the center after registering, please call the Council Office at 314-361-0600 ext. 3130, or 1-800-392-0895 to cancel!  Units whose Scouts fail to cancel will not be allowed to attend next Center in 2012.
