Interested and want to learn more about Truck Transportation? Then you need to attend the Truck Transportation Merit Badge Skills Center. On January 24, 2009, United Van Lines in Fenton will once again host the Truck Transportation Merit Badge Skills Center at the United Van Lines facility located south and west of I-44 and I-270.
Participants should bring a current merit badge book and the information needed in requirements #1 and #2. The session will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. The merit badge center will be limited to the first 50 Scouts registering by Jan. 16, 2009. A $2 registration fee per participant is required.
Truck Transportation Merit Badge Counselors will be available from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to meet with Scouts. Appointments may also be made to meet with a counselor at a later date. Scouts wishing to stay for counseling should bring a sack lunch and drink.
Attendance at the skills center does not guarantee that you will pass the requirements for the merit badge. In accordance with the merit badge policy, a Scout must meet with a counselor to complete the merit badge requirements.
