Certified Instructor Training for Shooting Sports
Beaumont Scout Reservation
The Guide to Safe Scouting, mandates that "all shooting activities must be supervised by a currently NRA Certified Instructor in the specific discipline being utilized and when on the range, must be supervised by a currently NRA Certified Range Safety Officer."
In order to meet these requirements, courses will be taught in the following disciplines:
- NRA Range Safety Officer: August 22, 2009
- NRA Certified Pistol Instructor: August 28-30, 2009
- NRA Certified Rifle Instructor: September 18-20, 2009
- NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor: October 23-25, 2009
- NRA Range Safety Officer: November 7, 2009
- NRA Certified Muzzleloading Rifle Instructor: December 4-6, 2010
- NRA Training Counselor Workshop: January 15-17, 2010
- NRA Certified Rifle Instructor: February 26-28, 2010
- NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor: March 26-28, 2010
- NRA Certified Pistol Instructor: April 9-11, 2010
- NRA Range Safety Officer: May 1, 2010
