Certified Instructor Training for Shooting Sports
Henges Range (just east of Beaumont)
Under the directives of the Guide to Safe Scouting, all shooting sports activities now mandate that "shooting activities must be supervised by a currently NRA Certified Instructor in the specific discipline being utilized and when on the range, must be supervised by a currently NRA Certified Range Safety Officer."
In order to meet these requirements:
An NRA Certified Pistol Instructor Training Course will be held Aug. 16-17 at Henges Shooting Range, located just east of Beaumont Scout Reservation.
A Range Safety Officer Course will be held Sept. 21 at Henges Shooting Range, located just east of Beaumont Scout Reservation.
An NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor Training Course will be held Sept. 17-18, 24-25 at Henges Shooting Range, located just east of Beaumont Scout Reservation.
An NRA Certified Rifle Instructor Training Course will be held Oct. 18-19 at Henges Shooting Range, located just east of Beaumont Scout Reservation.
