Rangers rule the Ranch!

Here's the ultimate program for Scouts who are at least 14, or in their fourth summer camp.

On Sunday afternoon, take off with other older Scouts with your backpack on your back seeking adventure.

Each day your crew will backpack to a different camp on the S bar F Scout Ranch. There, you will find programs that change every day.  Expect to blacksmith at our forge, take a sweat in our sweat lodge at the Native American camp, climb high into the trees on the ropes course, shoot a blackpowder rifle and swim in the Little St. Francis River.

You will be challenged by our staff.  You will learn to navigate and overcome obstacles.

This is not a camp for wimps!

You may participate the week that your troop is in camp, or come any other week of the summer.  The program ends after dinner on Friday evening.

Total cost for the program in 2009 is $210. A $25 deposit saves your spot. See your Scoutmaster to sign up.

River Rangers

Here's a special opportunity to float Missouri's Eleven Point River.  Requirements are same as the Ranger Program with the additional requirement that all must be strong swimmers to participate.  Cost is $225, and the float will take place June 7-12, 2009.
