Order of the Arrow Ceremony
Wednesday evening
Wednesday night is Visitor's Night and you and your family are invited to visit camp, see where your son has been having fun and have him show you around. The evening will be capped-off by the impressive Order of the Arrow Call-out ceremony.
Please arrive after 5 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and a flashlight. You are welcome to bring a picnic supper. Your Scouts will be having a picnic-style dinner that evening on their campsite at 6 p.m.
Our Trading Post will be open to purchase snacks or camp merchandise.
We will have a program that begins at 7:45 p.m. prior to the call-out ceremony for parents at the lakefront. The camp director and members of the camp staff will greet you and tell you all about camp.
Please do not bring any pets. Campsites and the lakefront are not accessible to vehicles. Handicapped accessibility is limited. Be prepared to do some walking.
Following the ceremony (approximately 10 p.m.), we ask that you return to your vehicles and not return to the campsite. It will be easy for you to get lost on trails after dark and the ceremony for those Scouts that were called out cannot begin until after the cars are off the roads and camp is quiet.
Homesickness is often a result of your returning to the campsite as well.
