Arrival and Departure Times for Webelos Camp

Arrival time for Webelos Camp at Camp May is between 1:30 and 2:30 on Sunday afternoon.

Please do not arrive prior to 1:30 as the Camp gate will be locked.  Proceed directly to your sons campsite.  Only the leader needs to check through the Camp Office

We invite parents to help get your son set-up and ready to go on his campsite.

Scouts depart from Webelos Camp following the Closing Campfire which begins at 5:00 pm on Friday afternoon.  The Campfire is usually over by about 5:45.  Parents and siblings are very welcome to attend this Campfire.  You will get a glimpse of the great fun that your son has had as he sings his favorite songs and joins in with the camp for this grand send-off.

The Closing Campfire is held in the Flag Field next to the dining hall.  Please bring your lawn chairs and join us.

Visitors

Visitors are discouraged during camp sessions.  Homesickness can result from impromptu visits.  Parents are asked to drop off their sons on Sunday, help them get settled in, and then depart.

Only adults who are in camp to provide leadership to dens should be in camp during the sessions and meal times.

Children who are not Webelos Scouts who have graduated from the fourth grade may not be in camp, with the exception of the visiting hours listed above.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in camp at any time.  This includes check-in and check-out.
