The Swift Base staff is made up of Venturers and Explorers just like you who came to camp as campers, and have returned to work for the entire summer.  Most of our staff is returning.

We are at Swift for you.  We had a great time as campers and we want you to have an even better one.  When we were campers, we thought the staff was the coolest, so we wanted to be one of them.

The staff has gone through training so that we can make sure that whatever programs you participate in, you will do it safely with our help.  We are trained in rock climbing, rappelling, ropes course, shooting sports, ski instruction, equestrian riding and care, CPR, first aid and lifesaving.  If you are interested in any of these areas, ask and we can tell you how to become trained or certified.

Our staff is also responsible for the camp office, the Trading Post and -- most importantly -- getting you fed!  Our kitchen staff prepares the food and coordinates clean-up.  One day your crew will be asked to help us in serving the meals and light clean-up.  We call this "service crew. "
