VARSITY HUDDLES
All Varsity Scout leaders are requested to attend the Varsity Huddle before every Roundtable.
Huddles are held the first Tuesday of every month in conjunction with Roundtable, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Roundtable program begins at 7 p.m.

CENTENNIAL EAGLES
Wow! What a night Feb. 8 was! It snowed 6 inches, and 23 young men earned their Eagles on the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. W.D. Boyce and Lord Baden Powell would be very proud of the Boone Trails District. This was a great day for these Scouts -- a day they should never forget. Below are two pictures: one of the Scouts with a few not pictured, and one with the Eagle Board and new Eagle Scouts.

2010 BOONE TRAILS DISTRICT DINNER
The district dinner was a huge success. Thanks goes out to Kevin Gurlen and his crack team of great volunteers who helped to make this year's dinner great! Special thanks goes out to the District Dinner Committee of dinner chair Roz Phelan, Ann Gastler, Rose and Jack Beckerle, Stephanie Gurlen, Jerri Brown and to everyone else who helped out! We also had a couple of sponsors we would like to thank, Lindenwood University and Companion Bakery. There was a record attendance of almost 175! This will be one to remember.
Seven 2009 recipients of the Boone Trails District’s award of merit were joined by 44 past recipients of the Boone Award at the district’s recent annual recognition dinner. The 2009 recipients, seated at center stage, are:

DISTRICT AWARD OF MERIT

WINTER RENDEZVOUS
Everyone who attended the Winter Rendezvous had a great time --whether you were throwing bowling balls and tomahawks, shooting a bow and arrow, or catapulting objects into the air. Special thanks goes to Cameron Davis, youth campmaster, and Mark Fields, adult adviser, for making the event so grand.
