A big thank you goes out to all those volunteers and families who contributed unselfishly to make this year Friends of Scouting Campaign a huge success. We achieved our overall goal of $100,000. We also set a huge benchmark for the Family Campaign of raising the most amount of money that the campaign has ever raised, $88,000. We could not have achieved this without Family Chairman Kevin Hanneken and his crew chiefs and trailblazers. Kevin has agreed to stay on as the Family Chairman for 2009.
A special thank you goes out to Mike Sellenschuetter, president of CSM and Associates, for taking on the daunting task of district Friends of Scouting chairman. Mike has also agreed to be our Friends of Scouting chairman for 2009.
