Get ready for a great year of scouting advancement! In the upcoming 2008-2009 year we have many wonderful things in store for our packs, troops and crews. The four merit badge skill centers will be offering merit badges for Traffic Safety, Citizenship In The World, First Aid and Environmental Science. Watch this website for flyers and registration materials which will always be available two months before the event. These materials will also be available at District Roundtable meetings. This coming year we will be offering for the first time ever Cub Scout Advancement Day. All cub packs will be invited to participate in this one day event which is designed to assist your cubs with advancing through their ranks. We will need a large number of volunteers as we expect hundreds of cubs to participate. This would be a great way for your boy scouts and venturers to earn service hours by assisting us in hosting this event. The advancement committee will continue to provide District Eagle Boards of Review two times per month on the second and fourth mondays. We will also be offering the Life to Eagle Seminars again this year. Watch this website for any additional information and dates.
