VARSITY TRAINING
If you are interested in taking Varsity Training, you will have two opportunities.  The first is this fall on 6 December, 2008.  It will be conducted in conjunction with the Boone Trails District Basic Training.  New Leader Essentials begins at 8 am and Varsity Specific training will begin at 10:15.  For more information see the Boone Trails page.  the second opportunity is on 14 March with the Gravois Trail District Basic Training.  See the Gravois Trail page for more details.

TAKE YOUR TRAINING ONLINE!
The national office is now offering Basic Adult Leader Training and supplmental training online. You can take Youth Protection Training, Fast Start, Safety Afloat, Safe Swim Defense  and Troop Committee Challenge through the Online Learning Center. If you are interested in taking online training, please click here.

Training of youth and adult leaders is very important to the success of the Boy Scout Program. Adult training begins with Faststart and Youth Protection Training. Both of these are provided online through the Online Learning Center link. New Leaders Essentials is the next step and is designed to acquaint you with the overall Scouting goals and organization.

Training continues with Leader Specific Training for the Scouting position that you are registered for. There are several training oportunities available in the Greater St. Louis Area Council.  Information for these events can be found by clicking on the small navigation tabs near the top of this page.
