PLACES TO GO AND THINGS TO SEE

The following organizations welcome Scout groups:

City Museum: Housed in the 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company, the museum is an eclectic mixture of children's playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion, and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects. The brainchild of internationally acclaimed artist Bob Cassilly, a classically trained sculptor and serial entrepreneur, the museum opened for visitors in 1997 to the riotous approval of young and old alike.

Green Center: Each season of the year offers opportunities to earn Boy Scout badges at The Green Center's 30 acres of woods, wetland, prairie, and learning gardens.  The Green Center offers Scout programming to Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos and Eagle Scouts.  Each Scout program is 1-2 hours with a fee of $7 per Scout.  For more information check out this link Green Center Flyer

International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame

Magic House: The Magic House will engage all children in hands-on learning experiences that encourage experimentation, creativity and the development of problem-solving skills within a place of beauty, wonder, joy and magic.

Museum of Transportation: Scouts enjoy FREE admission on Saturdays in October when in uniform and accompanied by a paying adult.
