This week-long horse program is a seven-day adventure-filled experience at Beaumont Scout Reservation. Spend a week riding a horse (of course), improving your riding skills, and then showing off your riding skills in a horse show. Other highlights include swimming, skeet shooting, rappelling, campfires and much, much more.
To qualify, you must be a registered Boy Scout, Venturer or Explorer and age 13 years of and completed eighth grade when camp starts.
The maximum number of participants is 40. The cost of camp is $275.00, which includes meals and lodging and program materials. You must provide a medical form -- just like you do for summer camp. This week is co-ed, with both boy and girl campers.
A reservation fee of $25 will hold your spot.
Leadership for this week is provided by members of our outstanding Trail Guide Committee. This committee is responsible for our horses, trail rides and wagon rides all year long. They are experts and will make this a week you will never forget! If you have any questions, e-mail the committee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Call the Camping Department at 314-361-0600 or 800-392-0895 if you have any questions.
