Short-Term Lottery Reservations for 2014-2015 Program Year
The deadline to submit short-term lottery reservations was July 15!
Troops, crews and posts will have
the opportunity to reserve one cabin before they make the rest of their short-term camping reservations to ease the scheduling of your program activities. The short term reservation process for Cub
Scout Packs remains the same as previous years.
Objective: To provide a fair and orderly system for the processing of
unit reservations for cabins, short-term camping and outdoor programs. Reservations can be made for facilities and
activities being conducted from October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015.
Date of Lottery: August
11 through 22, 2014.
for Boy Scout, Venturing, and Exploring programs and facilities such as cabins,
tree houses, rock climbing, horseback riding, and canoeing will be accepted
beginning August 11, 2014.
Appointments to make reservations for
Cub Scout programs such as Cub World and hayrides will begin August 18, 2014.
Each unit must submit or mail a Short Term Camping Program Lottery Sign-up Form
to the Camping Service by
July 15, 2014.
Submission can be done
with a paper form or online at www.stlbsa.kintera.org/2014ShortTermLottery
A lottery will then be held to determine the date and time you will be able to
of your date and time slot will be posted on Council website and returned to
the unit leader – Cubmaster, Scoutmaster,
or Advisor – on or around July 29, 2014.
Reservations may be made in person
at a Council service center or over the phone during your designated time slot.

Refunds: All requests for refunds of money must be made in writing to
the Camping Service. Four weeks prior notice of cancellation is required for
refund of money or to change date of reservation. If the Camp Ranger or the
Council cancels an activity because of weather conditions, a refund will be
issued to the unit.
