The Greater St. Louis Area Council is divided into 15 geographic districts. In the St. Louis metropolitan area, the districts are primarily organized by school districts. Other districts are by county or groups of counties.
Each district is served by at least one professional staff member -- district executive and/or district director. The district executive/director leads teams of hundreds of adult volunteer leaders in providing a Scouting program to the youth members in the community.
