2013 Scout expo
Scout Expo will be held February 9th from 9a.m. to 3:30p.m. at the Illinois Star Mall in Marion Illinois. This years theme is (S)cience, (T)echnology, (E)ngineering, and (M)ath. Please plan for activities related to the theme and invite all your scouts to attend.
Setup will be Friday night at 8:45p.m. for those displaying an exhibit.

Life Scout to Eagle Scout Seminar
Recently a Life Scout to Eagle Scout seminar was held in Carbondale by the Kaskaskia and Egyptian Districts of the Greater St. Louis Area Council. The Egyptian District Eagle Scout Board Chairman is Larry Sanders. The seminar was to train the parents and Boy Scouts on paperwork and badges that they will need to become and Eagle Scout.
There were several break-out sessions and refreshments were served. There was also a display of things to include in a Court of Honor. Things displayed included invitations, programs, booklets, thank-you cards, and background photos. Handouts were also available from Russ Mathews.
