Spring Camporee 2012 has concluded, and the weekend was a success!!
Congratulations to the following Troops:

A special thank you to the youth Campmaster, Thomas Van Horn, for doing such an outstanding job planning and organizing the event!

Scout and Adult Free Fishing Day at the Ranch!
Come out on Saturday May 19, 2012 to S-bar-F Scout Ranch for some fishing on Nims Lake.
Council canoes and rowboats will be available for use if requested. Or bring your own canoe or boat. You can also fish from the shoreline.
Everyone in a boat must be classified as a swimmer, plus you will need to wear a PFD.
Attendance prizes given out!
Coffee and donuts available Saturday morning!

Rock Climbing and Rappelling training
Have you been thinking how much fun it would be to go climbing and rappelling on the cliffs of Castle Rock? Now is your chance to become a certified instructor for the Council “Rocks” program!!
Training is offered two different times
May 23, June 2 & 3, 2012
August 8, August 18 & 19, 2012
You must attend all three dates of each training session to become certified.

Online reservations are online and working as of April 1, 2012 for short term camping opportunities in the Greater St. Louis Area Council.
Troops will make reservations for short-term camping programs such as rock climbing/rappelling, challenge course, pioneer kit usage, orienteering kit usage, climbing tower, horseback rides, hayrides, tipi program, etc. through the online system.
Later this year, the cabin/tree house lottery will be combined with the short term camping lottery. Coming this fall, you can also reserve cabins, tree houses, and the Adirondacks via the online reservation system.
The summer camp lottery will remain a separate lottery and reservation program at this time.
