Venturing Summer Camp Dates Announced
The John S. Swift Base will once again be the Venturing Summer Camp for all Venturers and older Boy Scouts to attend. This summer, Swift will have three weeks for participants to attend and each week has theme along with doing the basic Swift adventure activities. Swift weeks are as follows:
June 16-22, 2013 - Activities Extravaganza
June 23-29, 2013 - Shooting Sports and STEM
July 7-13, 2013 - Great Outdoors

Introduction to LEADERSHIP SKILLS -- Crews
Introduction to Leadership Skills for Crews is organized into three modules, each of which should take 60 to 90 minutes to complete, with additional optional games and challenges to enhance the leadership lessons (and fun) of the course. Over the course of conducting the training through fun activities and interactive discussions the Crew will talk about Unit Organization, Tools of Being a Great Leader, as well as Leadership and Teamwork.
