Construction Industry raises $23,000 in Inaugural Construction Industry Pinewood Derby!
On March 27th, the Inaugural Construction Pinewood Derby was held in the Gundaker Theatre on the campus of CBC High School. Proceeds from this event supported the operations of the Greater St. Louis Area Council and the more tha 58,400 young people who beneifit from its programs.
31 cars were built from blocks of wood or other materials relevant to the business' interest. The Champions Cup was awareded to the fastest racer of the evening from Thomas Industrial Coatings. Additional recognition was awarded to Essex Industries for Best In Show. Our Race results are available through the link to the right.
The Construction Pinewood Derby provided adults an opportunity to experience the satisfaction of the build and the thrill of the race. Plans are underway for the 2013 event and we need your feedback. Please consider participating in our survey to help us improve for next year's event.
