Beginning this month, Dremel and Lowe’s will once again
team up for the 11th-straight year to offer a series of in-store
clinics to help Scouts build the ultimate pinewood racecar. This year’s clinics
will be held on Jan. 18, Jan. 25, Feb. 1 and Feb. 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at
all Lowe’s locations nationwide. Packs looking to attend the demo event are
encouraged to call their local stores to confirm the date and time.
In addition to gaining new knowledge of car design tips
and tricks, clinic participants will receive an official race badge patch
(while supplies last). Once they’ve built their car, Scouts can visit
Facebook.com/Dremel to enter their final Pinewood Derby car design from Jan.
7-Feb. 22 for a chance to win the Dremel Ultimate Derby Crew prize pack and be
named the new Dremel and Lowe’s Pinewood Derby Days champion. The winner will
also have their design displayed in Lowe’s stores during the 2015 season.
To get started, fans can visit www.DremelDerby.com to access an online
car design studio or brush up on car-building tips and techniques.
