Sally Roth Named Board Chairman For Friends of Scouting Fundraising Campaign

ST. LOUIS, Mo. –
More than 44,000 young people throughout the St. Louis region are becoming better people through the programs of the Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy Scouts of America (GSLAC). These programs are made possible in part through generous supporters from our area. Each year, Friends of Scouting, the council’s annual fundraising campaign, generates 23% of GSLAC’s annual operating budget. In 2014, Regions Bank Area President Sally Roth will chair the board division of the council’s Friends of Scouting effort and will assist GSLAC with its fundraising.

Roth, who has 33 years of experience in financial services, oversees Regions banking operations in Missouri, Iowa and Western Kentucky. She has served as a board member for the Greater St. Louis Area Council since 2010. She is active in the St. Louis community and serves on several other boards including the Saint Louis Zoo; Regional Chamber and Growth Association Executive Committee; Regional Business Council; Foundation for Barnes Jewish Hospital; Wyman Center; and Washington University Olin Alumni Association, where she is past president. Roth also serves on Olin’s National Council and the Chancellor’s Council at University of Missouri-St. Louis.
