Annual Events

The council holds many annual programs and events. Click on the links below and at left for more information on service projects, recognition dinners and outdoor activities.

Cub Scouting Day One
Boys new to Cub Scouts start their journey on DAY ONE.  Held in multiple locations across our council, DAY ONE events offer exciting, outdoor activities to familiarize boys with the all they can do in Cub Scouting.

Grizzly Adventure Camp
Two sessions of this council-wide day camp are held in July at Beaumont Scout Reservation.

Fall Fright Fest
With a Halloween theme, this event hosts more than 1,000 Cubs and parents who experience spooky encounters, crafts and snacks each October at the Beaumont Scout Reservation.

Council Annual Meeting and Recognition Dinner
This late-spring event, which is open to all GSLAC Scouters, features the presentation of the year's Silver Beaver Awards, the highest award a council may present volunteer Scouters.
