The next worldwide Jamboree-On-The-Air/Jamboree-On-The-Internet will be Oct. 16–17, 2010. The
National
Scouting Museum is planning to host the event on Oct. 16.
The JOTA/JOTI annual event contributes to better understanding
and mutual respect between youngsters in different countries. Thousands
of amateur radio stations around the world participate. More than
500,000 Scouts in 100 countries, from Algeria to Zimbabwe, take part in
JOTA each year.
