DO YOU NEED MONEY FOR COLLEGE?
 
Many organizations offer scholarships to members of the Boy Scouts of America.  Below are some useful links to aid in your search for the right scholarship for you.  Simply click on the link and you will go to the information.
 
The American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year Nomination Form (PDF): The state award is a $500 scholarship. If sent on to the National American Legion competition, the winner receives a $10,000 scholarship and the second-place finisher receives $2,500. Applications for Eagle Scout scholarships for 2010 are now available at www.nesa.org.  If you would like to fill out an application click here http://www.nesa.org/applications.html.  The Saint Louis Eagle Scout Association also has a scholarship at http://www.stlesa.org/Membership/Scholarship.html.

The Eagle Scout, Sea Scout Quartermaster Award, Venturing Silver Award, or Girl Scout Gold Award is worth a $55,000 scholarship ($13,750 annually) to the University of Evansville.  Find the information at:  www.evansville.edu/scholarships/scouting.cfm
 
The Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship, renewable for up to four years. Most Evans Scholars also live in a campus Scholarship House with other Evans Scholars attending that university. Read more...

The Huggable Heroes program from Build-A-Bear Workshop recognizes young leaders between the ages of 8-18 years old doing extraordinary thing in their communities or around the world to better the lives of others. Now through February 28, entries are being accepted for the 2011 search for Build-A-Bear Workshop Huggable Heroes. Ten Heroes will be selected and each will be awarded with a $7,500 educational scholarship and a $2,500 donation to the 501(c)(3) charity of their choice. Anyone ages 8 and up can nominate a candidate for this award, and candidates can even nominate themselves.  Entry forms are available at all Build-A-Bear Workshop stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada, and online at www.lovehugssmiles.com/HuggableHeroes.aspx.
