EXPLORING AND VENTURING RECOGNITION DINNERThe Exploring and Venturing Recognition Dinner is Friday, June 4, at The MUNY West Pavilion. Gathering starts at 6:30 p.m. with dinner promptly at 7 p.m. Registrations are due before May 1. The cost of the event is $5 for participants/staff attending ScoutQuest 100 and $10 for people not attending. After May 15, the cost goes to $8, and $13 respectively. At the door, the cost will be $10 and $15.

The Venturing Leadership award is an award any Venturer/Advisor can be nominated for who has done outstanding service to the unit, district or council. Deadline for this award is April 1, 2010.

VENTURING LEADERSHIP SKILLS COURSE
The VLSC is a program for youth (usually run by youth), teaching leadership in a fun and exciting way -- usually on a crew outing. Every crew should consider running this leadership course within their members and watching the fun that develops. The VLSC is required for the Silver Award.
This is a free program offered by the council. Please contact Jared White at 314-256-3092 to reserve the VLSC box.
