COMMISSIONER TRAINING

Commissioners are district and council volunteer leaders who help units succeed.  They coach and consult with Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing adult leaders.  They help maintain the standards of the BSA.  They oversee the unit charter renewal plan so that each unit reregisters on time, and with the optimum number of youth and adult members.

UNIT VISIT TRACKING SYSTEM (UVTS)

First-time users: There is a tutorial on MyScouting.org regarding Unit Visit Tracking. You must be a registered commissioner to log visits. Complete and submit your adult application, and log in with the profile connected to that membership ID.

If you have any problems with the system, call 972-672-4389, a help desk for commissioners only.

UNIT COMMISSIONER BASIC TRAINING

New commissioners should complete basic training during their first two months. To help all unit commissioners comply with this recommendation, the council offers the following courses under the direction of Roger Engelbart, assistant council commissioner for training. Please make plans to attend.
