This hands-on program gives adult leaders the practical outdoor skills needed to lead Boy Scouts in outdoor activities. Leaders gain knowledge about setting up a campsite, pitching a tent, hiking, outdoor cooking -- all the skills necessary to lead the outdoor program of the Boy Scouts.
Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster training is
required for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters and is available several times a year. Your local
District Executive (Who is that?) can help you find a convenient training date for you. You can also check the Events Calendar to see what training is coming up!
Intro to Outdoor Skills is also
required to be a Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster. To find out when the next training is available, you will need to contact your local

Troop Committee training is available online.
This training is required for Committee Members in a Boy Scout Troop.
