This hands-on program gives adult leaders the practical outdoor skills needed to lead Boy Scouts in outdoor activities. Leaders gain knowledge about setting up a campsite, pitching a tent, hiking, outdoor cooking -- all the skills necessary to use the outdoor program of the Boy Scouts.
Prerequisite: This is Scouting (Formerly New Leader Essentials)
If you are registered as a Scoutmaster, this training is required, along with the Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster training to be fully trained in that position.
