This hands-on program gives adult leaders the practical outdoor skills needed to lead Boy Scouts in outdoor activities. Leaders gain knowledge about setting up a campsite, pitching a tent, hiking, outdoor cooking -- all the skills necessary to use the outdoor program of the Boy Scouts.
Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster training is required to be a Scoutmaster and is available several times a year. Your local
District Executive (Who is that?) can help you find a convenient training for you. You can also check the Events Calendar to see what training is comng up.
Intro to Outdoor Skills is also required to be a Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster. To find out when the next training is available, you will need to contact your local

Troop Committee training is available online.
This training is needed to be a Committee Member in a Boy Scout Troop.
