Silver Beaver Award

The Silver Beaver Award is the highest recognition a Boy Scout council can bestow on an adult volunteer leader. The award is presented to those volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to the Scouting program. Nominations are recommended by the local council and approved by the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The Greater St. Louis Area Council presented its first Silver Beaver Awards in January 1932.

This year's Silver Beaver Award ceremony will take place during the council's Annual Meeting and Recognition Dinner on Thursday, June 14, at Chaifetz Arena on the Saint Louis University campus.
